TAGKAWAYAN BEACH in PUERTO PRINCESA, PALAWAN

Tagkawayan Beach can be found in Bgy. Simpocan, Puerto Princesa City, about an hour drive away from the town proper. It is a place unknown to tourists but being frequented by locals. The beach is completely hidden and untouched. Locals can be seen roaming around the shoreline and they are willing to share the beach to anyone who passes by and wanted to stay for a day or a night. You may bring your own tent with you. You can see the mountains on the other side and beach on another, such a perfect combo for a getaway activity and soul searching. Its strategic location makes for an awe-inspiring sunrise, mornings here will leave you utterly speechless.

This beach is not what you imagine a beach in Palawan Island would be. It's a combination of sand and stones, the waves are a little rougher and unruly. However, if you want a beach all to yourself, this is a place to be.
