ELNIDO and UNDERGROUND RIVER ADVENTURE

Our guests had an amazing start of the year 2020 by visiting the Underground River and Elnido.  Palawan is known for having a well-preserved nature and environment.  As they enter the park of Underground River, they were welcomed not just by the beauty of nature but its occupant as well, the monkeys, monitor lizards, crickets and hummingbirds.  What a good sight to see them enjoying the tour we prepared for them!😀🌞

They were astonished to see this part of the world and how Palawan was able to maintain its biodiversity conservation despite the flock of tourist who comes every year to visit and see for themselves the UNESCO heritage and at some point has been declared as one of the 7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD!🏆

The guests arrive in the morning and went directly to the Underground River with high expectations of the place.  You can see the smiles and anticipations that each of them has while we travel for two hours and just the same, we were as delighted as them to showcase the feeling of being one with nature.  🌄

Monitor Lizard

These animals are a common sight at the Park and are considered to be one of the welcoming party to all visitors who come visit the Underground River.  They are already used to seeing tourists every day and there are also park rangers around who take care of them.

The Underground River has a unique feature as the limestone karst landscape has a complex cave system.  It connects a range of important ecosystems from the mountain to the sea - to the tropical rainforest and mangrove areas.
